Midwest FurFest DJ Auditions Are Open!

Hey all you DJs, musicians or otherwise musically inclined furs out there MFF is now open for auditions! I am looking for DJs from just about every genre of electronic music (house, trance, hardcore, etc) as well as non electronic genres (hip-hop/rnb, fursuit friendly). If you would like to play, here is what I need from you.

Please send an email to dance.2009@furfest.org with your name, style, equipment needs, availability as well as a demo showcasing your skills. I cannot book you without a demo, if you need help with getting it to me let me know and we can work something out. I don't have the time to listen to shoutcasts or SL broadcasts either, so please don't offer that as an alternative, thanks.

Last year we had a fantastic time with the dance at the new hotel, and now that we've had time to get familiar with the venue it can only get better. I want to do everything I can to help make the dance great for everyone, and this is where you come in. If you attended (or didn't attend) tell me what you liked and what you didn't like? What drew you in, or kept you away from the dance in the first place? What DJs made you shake your tail? If we could keep the "OMG you don't play enough X type of music" comments to a minimum that would be fantastic, because that discussion never gets anywhere. :p
